Celtic Inspired Mittens Pattern Now Available for Purchase

I'm excited to post that my first official mitten pattern is now available for purchase through Ravelry.

For years I’ve been drawn to Celtic designs. I love how the lines flow. These mittens came to mind as I studied different Celtic patterns and considered how they could merge with colourwork mittens.

This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter with some experience working with charts and knitting in the round. Designer tips are included for knitters who are new to stranded colourwork.

Go to my Patterns For Sale page to purchase this pattern.

The launch of my new website!

I'm excited to be launching this website as it represents transitioning from a lifetime of knitting as a hobby, to becoming a professional knitwear designer.

I've designed plenty of knitted items in my life, but mostly for my own use and rarely have those designs been shared with others. But now, I have designed my first pattern and I'm ready to take the leap to offering it up for others to purchase. It is still in the final stages of test knitting and as soon as that stage is complete, I'll be ready to publish. I'll update this site before the end of August with more information.

Until then, I'm keeping things under wraps and looking forward to seeing and sharing the results of the test knit as soon as the pattern is ready to be published.
